Python Developer

Whitehall Resources are looking for a Python Developer. This role requires 3 days per week on the client site in Bournemouth and the rest remote working, for an initial 6-month contract.

Job Description:
You will play a crucial role in an agile team, focusing on the enhancement, construction, and delivery of top-tier technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner.

Skills and Experience:

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience
• Advanced in Python & PySpark
• Experience in API development and exposure to Python Application development
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
• Practical cloud native experience and knowledge on Kubernetes
• Familiar with any Cloud environment and knowledge on Kubernetes
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow
• Familiarity with engineering in a regulatory controlled environment
• Managing expectations of non-technical stakeholders

Good to have:

• Familiar with AWS via hands on experience or certification
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow
• Familiarity with BASEL regulatory reporting framework
• Familiarity with engineering in a regulatory controlled environment
