The role offers the great opportunity to begin your career as a Network Engineer with expansive career opportunities and progression. You'll be a part of the Global Network team; providing network support, design and implementation for the world's largest security company across 85 different countries. In this position, you'll be able to get hands-on experience working with the latest technologies and learning from experienced engineers who will help guide you through your career. Throughout your progression as a Network Engineer you will receive training on CCIE level topics, Palo Alto, Arista, Meraki, and GCP, to give you the knowledge that will help you to design and build quality networks that will support the growing business.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement highly scalable, reliable networks in an environment where downtime has a critical impact on the business' finances
• Responsible for delivering projects; updating network infrastructure from Legacy equipment in offices and in Data Centre environments
• Proactively improve the network stability, redundancy and security
• Ownership of Design Building Blocks to assist in the development of the network
• Produce in-depth technical design diagrams and documents that assist with knowledge transfer
• Investigate and troubleshoot service requests and incidents that are raised and ensure these are resolved within SLA

Essential skills required:

• College or University degree in Computer Networks/Computer Science

Desirable:

• Knowledge of TCP/IP Stack and OSI Model
• Understanding of Layer 2 Switching and Layer 3 IP Routing
